Edwin’s Hall is a Grade II Listed Building. The hall is the remaining part of a much larger late 16th century moated house. This moated house was reportedly built by Edwin Sandy, the Archbishop of York (1517 - 1588). It is haunted by the ghosts of a Cavalier, a girl that drowned in the lake and “something” in the orchard.
